مودم هوآوی مدل EchoLife HG8240H که یک مودم ONT است که توسط ITU-T تعریف شده و در قسمت مشترک شبکه GPON نصب می گردد و دارای  4 گیگابیت اترنت و 2 پورت POTS می باشد.  مودم ONT علاوه بر تعدادی پورت RJ45 که می توانند 10*100 یا 10*100*1000 باشند و پورت FXS، همچنین یک پورت پان PON دارد که به شبکه ی توزیع نوری (ODN) وصل می شود. در واقع ONT در تجهیزات شبکه کار یک گیتوی ویپ FXS را نیز برای شما انجام می دهد تا شما نیازی به دستگاه گیتوی VoIP مجزا نداشته باشید.
